He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Lampkin and Gertrude "Shug" Fluker-Reeves; his wife Juanita Ward Lampkin; his siblings, Moody Lampkin, Jack Lampkin, James Lampkin, Daniel Lampkin, Estelle Lampkin-Johnson and Christine Lampkin-Kirkland; and his sons, Edward Lee Mathis and Willie Earl Lampkin.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Lampkin of Dothan, AL, Carolyn Reynold (Thomas), Renea Mathis of Ponca City, OK., Michael Lampkin (Pam), Otis Carter Jr. (Mary) of Dothan, AL and Ricky Payne of Columbia, AL. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and four great great great-grandchildren; as a his god-daughter: Alexia Smith; a special cousin: JT Fluker; one special niece.
