It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Powell Denney (Dothan, Alabama), born in Duck Hill, Mississippi, who passed away on June 28, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lois Powell and Henry Powell; her husband Calvin Denney; her siblings, James Powell and Shirley Lamb; and her grandson Kyle Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Jones (Frank), Dr. David Denney (Nancy), Dr. Dan Denney (Cathy) and Stephen Denney (Diane); and her grandchildren, Kirk Jones (Brittan), Brad Denney (Ashley), Joshua Denney (Annie), Shannon Brasovan (Peter) and Kate Martin (Justin). She is also survived by four children and a loving and supportive wife.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Dothan, AL or Day Springs Hospice.
