He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry L. Underwood and Ruth Underwood (Edwards); and his siblings, Margaret Buchanan (Enich), Joyce Mayben (Richard) and Henry E. Underwood (Brenda).

He is survived by : his sister Patricia; his brother-in-law John Cashman; and his close friends, Neal Entrekin and Judy Hines.
