He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Luther and Dorothy Gene Oxford Smith; and his sister Annezell Smith Gafford. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Ann Parish Smith; his children, Andrea Smith Acker (Daniel) and Andrew Oxford Smith, Jr. (Elizabeth); his sister Al Sandra Smith Freeman; and his grandchildren, Sydney Christine Acker Ferrill (Micah), Hayden Elizabeth Acker, Robinson Daniel Acker (Hannah), Andrew Oxford Smith, III and Katherine Carter Smith.
