It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dretta Allen (Elba, Alabama), who passed away on July 21, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Stevie Allen; her grandson Hunter Allen; her parents, Martha Hodge Nelson and Hayward D. Nelson; and her sister Patty Turner.

She is survived by : her son Kevin Allen (Jennie) of Elba, AL; her granddaughter Jordan Saunders of Elba, AL; and her brothers, Huey Wayne "PoJo" Nelson and Paul Nelson of Elba, AL.
