She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Farris; her parents, John C. and Connie Danford Thomas; her grandchildren, Bruce Parrish and Candi Stokes; her children-in-law, Joe Spurlin and Jeanette Farris; and her brothers, James Thomas, Leroy Thomas, Myrtle Bryan, Mavis Davis, Merle Haywood and Frances Mims.
She is survived by: her children, Sand Hill, Jean Spurlin of Elba, AL, Beth Henderson (Lamar) of Elba, AL and Dawson Farris (Frankie); and her grandchildren, Denise Newman, Greg Oglesby (Arlene), Michele Brown, Jason Farris (Marsha), Byron Parrish, Gena Waller (Hal), Kyle DuBose (Amy), John DuBose (Catherine), Heather Smith (Dusty), Jep DuBose (Valerie), Jerry DuBose and Andy Henderson (Kendal). She is also survived by six Great Grandchildren, and four Great Great Grandchildren.
