He is survived by: his wife Jane Foster; his sons, Rodney Foster (Catrina) and Brian Foster (Karen); his mother Mickey Foster; his aunt Carol O'Neil; his brother Billy McCauley; his grandchildren, Skylar Rissman, Mackensie Foster, Sarah Foster and Olivia Foster; and his great grandchildren, Paisley Rissman and Stefen Rissman.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Prattville VFW in memory of Rodney Joseph Foster.
