She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin Lee Solomon; her son Rhett Solomon; and her brother Joe William Poole. She is survived by: her children, Alice Solomon and Darrell Solomon (Brenda); her daughter-in-law Phyllis Solomon; and her grandchildren, Eric Solomon (Joanne), Chris Solomon (Felicia), Sheena Landers (Brandon), Tiarra Armenta (Eric) and Tiffany Solomon. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.
