He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Tew and Annie Ruth Tew; his wife Liz; and his sisters, Betty, Shirley and Mary.
He is survived by: his daughter Kyla Elizabeth Tew; his son-in-law John Glover of Henrico, VA; his son Charles Lenthas, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Amy Tew of Hoover, AL; his grandchildren, Chad and Emma; and his sisters, Judy and Gail. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Red Cross or other charities.
