She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Kemp and Ola Edith Glover Smith; her husband Francis Mel Fairchild, Sr.; and her son-in-law Hartwell Hubble. She is survived by: her children, Francis Mel Fairchild, Jr. (Charlotte), Terry L. Fairchild (Laura), Gail F. Hubble and Annette Thorpe (Rick); and her grandchildren, Kimberly Ingram, Kristy Watson, Jennifer Munroe, Stacey Gomez, Ricki Thorpe and Matthew Fairchild. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
