He is survived by: his wife Helen Cordle Arnette; his daughters, Cindy Watkins (Doug), Enterprise and Debra Bugg (Gordon); his grandchildren, Ryan Ivey, Brent Ivey (Jean), Michael Wiggins, Erin Watkins Perry and Douglas Watkins (Michelle); his great grandchildren, Collin Perry, Caleb Perry, Lynleigh Watkins and Shane Arnette Ivey; and also Enterprise.

The family asked that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Enterprise YMCA, P.O. Box 310700, Enterprise, Alabama 36331.
