He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Barnes and Flora Bell Barnes; his son Michael Todd Barnes; and his siblings, Deborah Williams and Jerry Mack Barnes.
He is survived by: his wife Stacia Morgan Barnes of Enterprise, AL; his children, J. Paul Barnes (Dawn) of Headland, AL and Brandi Parten (Marcus) of Demopolis, AL; his grandchildren, Brandon, Bethany Barnes, Caleb, Sarah Elizabeth and Emma James Parten; his brothers, Leon Elmon Barnes of Buena Vista, GA and Colin Barnes (Ann) of Enterprise, AL; his sister-in-law Jane Barnes of Prattville, AL; his brother Cecil; his sister-in-law Hilda Skinner of Ozark, AL; his brother Dickie; his sister-in-law Mary Morgan of Enterprise, AL; his pet Caesar; and his niece Delora Crowley of Elmore. He is also survived by numerous loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Due to the Covid19 virus, the family will not be receiving friends prior to the service.
