He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Prude Goodson and Eldora "Dodie" Goodson. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Parker Goodson of Elba, Alabama; his sons, Jerry Goodson, Jr. (Sybille), David Goodson and Steve Goodson (Karen); his grandchildren, Miller Goodson Wallace (Grant), Jerry Goodson III (Caroline), Bailey Goodson Hanna (Matthew), Reagan Goodson and Hunter Goodson; and his great grandchildren, Gage Wallace and Janie Wallace.
The Goodson family is accepting flowers or a memorial contribution may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church Bereavement Ministry.
