She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Abercrombie and Mattie Abercrombie; and her siblings, Ray Abercrombie, Samuel Abercrombie, Sue Sconyers, Frances Albritton and Hazel Ellison.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Wells (Richard) of Prattville, AL, Rhonda Bowden (Bill) of Enterprise, AL and Coleman Hatcher (Donna) of Dothan, AL; her grandchildren, Stuart Peters (Hope), Jana Crim, Brandi Dowling (Matt), Sabrina Obert (John) and Jason Hatcher; her great grandchildren, Brianna, Ryan, Sam, Ben and Harper; and her sister Melba Jackson of Dothan, AL. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
