He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Albert and Josia Starling Cassady; and his son Joe C. Cassady, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Ann Carmichael; his grandchildren, Joseph Carmichael (Betsy), Lee Carmichael Finison (Bryan), Joe Calvin Cassady, III, Georgia Leigh Cassady of Ann Arbor, MI and Nicholas Edward Cassady of Enterprise, AL; and his stepgrandson John Clayton Woodham of Enterprise, AL. He is also survived by 9 great-grandsons; 1 great-granddaughter.
