She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilburn Thomas and Lela Mae Lee Welch; her husband Loyd James Leger; and her grandchildren, Byron Buxton and Clinton Buxton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rita Jackson, Clara Burnett, Marie Johnson (JD) and Sheila Arnette (Terry); her grandchildren, Pam Morris (Randy), Monica Miller (Michael), Shawn Zinninger (Dea), Robert Zinninger, Donna Zinninger (Nate), Chris Buxton (Angie), Adam Buxton and Brian Jackson; her great grandchildren, Amanda Jackson (Daniel), Kristina Curtin (Dylan), Angela Harrison (TJ), Serenity Zinninger, Charlie Zinninger, Kenna Zinninger, Jordan Zinninger, Mathew Miller and Brandon Rutherford; her great great grandchildren, Kerry Curtin, Elena Grant, Amelia Grant, Ethan Grant and Tidus Harrison; and her brother Thomas "Pete" Welch (Kathy). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
