She was predeceased by: her former husband James Loftin Brown; her husband Colley Martin; her parents, William Gaines and Idell Bassett Baxley; and her siblings, Jewel Redmon, Juanita Faircloth, Sybil Walters, Barbara West, William G. Baxley, Jr. and Daniel Paul Baxley.

She is survived by: her brother David H. Baxley. She is also survived by step-granddaughter.
