He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Pirtle and Amelia Pirtle; and his siblings, Harold Pirtle, Jr. and Sharon Pirtle. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Pirtle; his children, Michael Pirtle (Lisa) and Nancy Pirtle; and his grandchildren, Madison, Savannah, Sara Faith and Harper Pirtle.
