He was predeceased by: his siblings, Kate Newman (James) of Hendersonville, NC, Clifford Miller, Elbert Miller and Ralph Miller. He is survived by: his wife Betty S. Miller; his children, Debra Miller Gilbert (Donnie), Susan Miller McAllister (James) and William E. Miller (Cecilia); his grandchildren, Kristy Milton (Chris), Carolyn Jones (Kris), Jeffery Miller, Hunter Gilbert and Landen McAllister; and his sisters, Maudella Catlett (Reece) and Ina Wright (Burl). He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
