She was predeceased by: her sister Ruth Ann Barger of Paducah, KY; and her parents, Mabel Ruth Anderson of Metropolis, IL and Thomas Fieldon Scott of Chicago, IL.. She is survived by: her husband John William Meredith of Enterprise, AL; her son Scott Meredith (Sherrie); and her sister Betty Faye Walker (Bill). She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
