He was predeceased by: his parents, Dozier Johnson and Emma Jewell Johnson of Enterprise, AL.; his brothers, Arthur Williams Johnson and Jerry Wayne Seago; and his nephews, Joey Johnson and Darin Seago.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Johnson; his son Steve Maurice Johnson Jr. (Kindria) of Akron; his siblings, Emma Doris Seago, Joe W. Johnson (Sue) of Enterprise, AL. and Johnny C. Johnson (Carolyn) of Enterprise, AL.; his stepchildren, Isaiha Renslen of Ozark, AL and Michelle Allen of Alburque; and his grandchildren, Jariah of Akron, Kadence of Akron and Kacey of Akron. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
