James Southerland Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Southerland of Equality, Alabama, who passed away on August 21, 2020, at the age of 28, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his nephew Maddox Southerland; his grandfathers, James R. Southerland, Ronnie Jackson and Donald Simmons; and his great-grandparent Kitty Norton.
He is survived by: his parents, Jimmy Southerland and Stephanie Southerland; his brothers, John Southerland (Hailey) and Christopher Southerland; his grandparents, John, Barbara Starr, Roger, Mary Frymire and Belle Simmons; and his nephews, Colton Southerland, Caden Southerland and Leighton Southerland. He is also survived by his dog/daughter "Dixie" and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to one's favorite Law Enforcement charity.
