She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Lorenzo Worthington and Tilda Worley Worthington; her husband Glenn Robert McDaniel, Sr.; her son Glenn Robert McDaniel, Jr.; her grandson Michael Robertson McDaniel; and her son-in-law Robert Henry Twigg.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca McDaniel Twigg of Opelika and Glenda McDaniel Freeman (Jack) of Birmingham; her grandchildren, Stephen Craig Twigg (Buffie), Darian Twigg Bilski (Brian), Thomas Andrew Freeman (Claire), Meridith Glenn Freeman (Harrison), Laura Katherine Freeman, Rebecca Elanor McDaniel (Henry Stewart), Erin Nicole McDaniel and Saphira Kay Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Thomas Andrew Freeman, Jr., Evelyn Claire Freeman, Nicholas Parker Twigg and Madyson Annalee Twigg.
In adherence to COVID-19 safety guidelines, the family requests that anyone wishing to attend the services to please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to Children's Harbor in Mrs. McDaniel's memory.
