He is survived by: his wife Emily Baker Johnston; his mother Brenda Johnston; his children, Christopher Scott Johnston, Tyler Michael Johnston, Brian Chase Johnston, Abigail Katelyn Veitch and Kaylee Ann Veitch; his nephew Jacob Ramirez; and his niece Santana Ramirez.
