She was predeceased by: her father Edward Curry; her husband Stanley Bruce Smith Sr.; her son Stanley Bruce Smith Jr.; and her brother Luther "Buddy" Curry. She is survived by: her daughter Jessica Durham; her sisters, Beverly Wessinger, Judy Spencer, Kathy Dickerson (Tim) and Shirley Kimbrough; her granddaughters, Metallica, Isabella and Elizabeth Grace Durham; and the father of her child Wayne Inman. She is also survived by other extended family and friends.
