He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Minnie Owens Holden; his birth mother Minnie Owens Holden; his adoptive parents, Ruby Owens and Arthur Owens; his siblings, Eugene Williams and Debra Owens; his niece Denise McSwain Granger; his daughter Tracy Thompkins Wright (Joseph) of Eufaula, Alabama; his grandchildren, Sheldon, Thompkins-Daniels and Sahdia Joleigha Wright of Eufaula, Alabama; his siblings, Arthur Robert Owens (Lucille) of Atlanta, Georgia, Nila Williams Kyles (Joseph) of Columbus and Patty Maria Daniel of Columbus, Georgia; and his close friends, Michael "Stick" Floyd, Bobby Baker, David Ford, Kendra Brooks and Greater Hope Church. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
