She was predeceased by : her son John Smyth; her parents, Clermont Sears and Anna Sears; her son-in-law Choate Budd; and her former life partner Clifford Durand.
She is survived by : her husband Wayne Hoffren of Fairhope; her daughter Sherry Budd of Oak Harbor, WA; and her stepchildren, Donald Hoffren (Cindy) of Fairhope, Sherry Calvert of Fairhope and Sheila Linton (John) of Fairhope. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren.
