He was predeceased by: his sons, Judson Daniel and Bryan Aubrey Nelson; his wife Carol A. Nelson; and his grandson Timothy Aaron Nelson. He is survived by: his sons, Darryl Nelson (Sherry) of Fairhope and Tim Nelson (Charlene) of Fairhope; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica and B. J.; his great grandchildren, Christian, Zachary, Cadence and Camden; and his sisters, Mary Kelly (Lamar) of Fairhope and Mildred Nelson of Loxley. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
