He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Augusta McCook and Waldo McCook; his spouse Gwendolyn Thomas; his children, Dawn Mosley (Tod), Tony McCook, Michael McCook (Derenda) and John McCook (Stephanie); and his siblings, Betty McCook and Charles McCook (Joan). He was also cherished by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
