It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Ellen Kanipe (Fairhope, Alabama), born in Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on January 22, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth M. "Ken" Kanipe; and her parents, Wade Phillips and Thelma Phillips. She is survived by: her children, Linda Larson of Foley, Darrel Kanipe of Highlands Ranch and Lisa Coleman of Columbia. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Colorado, 455 Sherman St.
