She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Moss and Eudie Baxter Moss; and her son Wayne Hennis. She is survived by: her husband Curtis Hicks; her children, Tim Hennis (Raichelle) and Tina Mull; her stepchildren, Christine Kilpatrick (Willie) and Charles Hicks; her grandson Jeremy Paul Hennis; her great grandchild McKenzie Hennis; and her siblings, Jimmie Tidwell, Faye Baxter and Daisy Howell (Doug).
