He is survived by: his wife Jolane Vander Sys Edwards of Fairhope; his children, Lane Edwards Weavil (Richard) of Mobile and Richard Arnold Edwards (Robert) of Tacoma, Washington; his grandsons, Garland Aldrich Weavil Sanders (Michael) of Mobile and Robert Cameron Weavil of Mobile; and his great grandchildren, Anne Hastings Weavil of Mobile, Elizabeth Lane Sanders of Mobile and Michael Donaghey Sanders III of Mobile.
