He is survived by: his brothers, Cedarcrest Jerseys and William Dickason Rankin; his wife Doris Strobel Rankin; and his children, Kay Rankin Beckett, John Patrick Rankin (Erin), Ann Rankin Price (Ray), Mary Rankin Jackson (Bob) and James Robert Rankin (Amy). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
