She was predeceased by: her husband C. D. Carden (Shorty); her parents, Maston Clemmons and Mamie Clemmons; her grandchildren, Julie Ann Clemons and Stults; and her siblings, Goldie Chambers of Pearl Prince, W. T, Opal McBride, Hollis Clemmons, Reba Price and Alta Clemmons.
She is survived by: her close friend Ira Cromwell; and her son Carl Carden (Ariana). She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; thirty three great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
