We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2020, at the age of 74, Arnold Jay Davis Jr. (Florence, Alabama), born in Pennington Gap, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Buster, Bertha Davis, Marshall and Carrie Riggs; his sisters, Virginia Davis and Arlene Jolly; and his parents, Arnold Jay Davis, Sr. and Mable Riggs Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Bridges Davis; his children, Arnold Jay Davis, III, Shannon Cross (Tony) of Knoxville, TN, Heather (Jonathan) of Florida and Joshua Davis of Florence, AL; his sister Connie Maples (Sam) of Seymour, TN; and his grandchildren, Annelise, Asher of Florence, AL, Cory Harris of Boston, MA and Caleb Cross (Alexis) of Elizabethton, TN. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in his memory to Mars Hill Bible School.
