He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Rickard and Pauline Rickard; his daughter Sandy Baron; his brother Sonny Rickard; and his sister-in-law Vivian Rickard.

He is survived by: his wife Ann Rickard; his children, Tim Rickard (Leslie) and Laura Wallace (Tony); his brothers, Gary Rickard (Christina) and Jeff Rickard; and his son-in-law Gene Baron. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
