He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lough and Katherine Lough; his sister Jacqueline Fuller; and his sons, Ray and Jon Lough.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Lough; his children, Brandy Steward of Hackleburg, Misty Higgins Loutzenheiser (Michael), Mark Higgins, Tim Higgins (Leslie) and Beth Ticer (Chris); his siblings, Jon Lough (Celie) of Lexington, NC, David Lough (Sunita) of Falls Church, VA and Kathie Lough Kincheloe of Waynesboro, VA; and his grandchildren, Maddox, Blaze Vickery, Cole Barnett (Josey), Abbye Barnett, Josie, Madalyn Higgins, Justin, Drew Scott and Paislee Ticer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
