He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Willie B. and Louise; his wife Betty; his daughters, Willie Frances and Jeanie Hickman Bates (Marion); his grandchildren, Melissa Hickman Bailey (David) and Will Echols (Brittney); his stepgrandsons, Blaine Bates and Alex Bates; and his great grandchildren, John David Bailey and Olivia Melissa Bailey. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
