He is survived by: his wife Hilda Melton Comer; his daughter Gidgett Morrow Bridgett Haraway (Vince); his sister Anita McCluskey Louise Brown; his grandchildren, Caleb Morrow, Colby Morrow, Sydney Haraway, Abbey Haraway, Shaylie Hughes, Savana Vinson and Samuel Vinson Sweet Companion; his friend Calvin Balentine; his parents, Oscar Lee Johnson and Elizabeth Slaughter Johnson; his brother James Comer; his brother-in-law Danny Chandler; his nephew Kevin Chandler; and also Lifelong.
