He was predeceased by: his parents, Velma Barnes and William Barnes; and his son David Barnes. He is survived by: his children, Katlyn Barnes, Susanne McQuitery (Winston) and William Barnes; and his grandchildren, Jessica Barnes, Laura Brown, Laney Barnes, Ryanne Barnes, Rebekah Barnes and Linus McQuitery.
