He is survived by: his brothers, Keith Montgomery and Jimmy; his wife Martha Ann Wilkes Montgomery; his children, Melissa Ann Bailey (Randy) and David Keith Montgomery (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Ashley N. "Nikki" Bailey, Chad A. Bailey, Brandi L. Guild, Kimberly L. Lacy, Ashley C. Wright (Scottie), David E. Montgomery (Brenna), Keisha R. Montgomery Torres (Jon) and Hope Lacy; and his sister Verlon Ruth Vickry. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Freewill Baptist Children's Home in Ethridge, Alabama.
