He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Evelyn Tubbs; and his brother Travis Smith. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Perritt Tubbs; his mother-in-law Noel Bennett Perritt; his siblings, Steve Stanfield, Dexter Tubbs, Delores Ledlow, Debra Riley and Paula Davis; his cousin Quinton Glover; and his close friend Marie Watson.
