He is survived by: his wife Kathy Haataja; his son Marcus Clay Haataja (Tonya); his grandchildren, Marcus Clay Haataja II, Micah Holden (Craig), Zachariah Halimton (Nikki) and Jonah Halimton; and his sister Brenda Herring (Eddie).
