He is survived by: his wife Maria Carpenter; his children, Jessica Williams (Rett), Brian Carpenter and Brandon Carpenter; his grandchildren, Marley Williams and Sammy Williams; his mother Glenice Carpenter; his siblings, Rita White (Ricky), Shirlene Kiel and Larry Carpenter (Wanda); and his sister-in-law Glenda Carpenter. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
