He was predeceased by: his brother Ronald Lane McDaniel; and his nephew Christopher Haeger. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Robertson McDaniel of Florence; his granddaughters, Elizabeth Rose Payne Cavin (John) of Huntsville, Ala. and Lydia Carole Payne of West Blocton; his siblings, Robert McDaniel of Waterloo, Martha McDaniel Sharp (Kenneth) of Waterloo and Sarah McDaniel Holcombe (Terry) of Wesson, Miss.; his siblings-in-law, JoAnn Robertson Haeger (Terry) of Florence, Berry "Buck" Robertson (Wanda) of Florence and Gary "Peanut" Robertson (Rena) of Waterloo; and his friend Harley Davidson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shoals Sav-A-Life or St. Jude Hospital.
