We are sad to announce that on April 2, 2023, at the age of 76, Donald Eugene Fowlkes of Florence, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Fowlkes and Pauline Fowlkes; his siblings, Betty Sharpston, Jimmy and Charlie Fowlkes; his sister-in-law Lorene Fowlkes; his granddaughter Destiny; and his great grandchild Lucas.
He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Tucker, Renee Latty (John), Heather Mitchell (Steven) and Julie Fowlkes (Doug); and his siblings, George Fowlkes and Janie Pierce (Bobby). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Donald Fowlkes memorial fund at Bank Independent.
