He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Oakley, Sr. and Atwood Simmons Oakley; and his siblings, W. T. Oakley, Robert Oakley, Floyd Oakley, Jr., Herschel Oakley, Charles Oakley and Geraldine Lindsey.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Ann Jones Oakley; his children, Anthony Oakley (Casey), Donnie Oakley (Sherry) and Tammy Irons (Scott) of Florence; his grandchildren, Jeremy Oakley, Colter Irons, Heather Irons, Gunner Shook, Jase Shook, Breanna and Alex Willis; and his great grandchildren, Grant Irons, Tyler and Blake Oakley.
