He was predeceased by: his father Donald Albert Turner, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Turner of Florence; and his siblings, David Turner (Christy) of Virginia, Jan Ingle (Brian) of Florence, Sandra Niedergeses (Chris) of Killen and Susan Thompson (Jeff) of Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hillsdale Free Methodist Church, Hillsdale College or to the Gideons.
