She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Stricklin and Ora Williams Stricklin; and her sister Elveeta Stricklin. She is survived by: her husband Elvin Ray Scott; and her siblings, Dorothy Toney of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Earl Stricklin of Savannah, Loyd C. Stricklin of Savannah, Boyd Stricklin of Lawrenceburg and Gloyd Stricklin of Savannah, Tennessee. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
