He was predeceased by: his wife Elmyra Behel Howell; his parents, Elmer Howell and Lily Howell; and his siblings, Leonard Howell, Jeanette McCreless, Velma, Mills and Venora Cantrell.
He is survived by: his daughter Nita Elson; and his sister Willodean May. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A public graveside service will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 12:00 p. m. in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens with mandated social distancing and facemask.
